Marie Reed Elementary School is a diverse, multi-lingual learning community focused on nurturing the whole child, developing the values, character, and knowledge for future success. The school offers a comprehensive Dual Language/Immersion program, fostering bilingualism and biliteracy from an early age. Its Restorative Justice Program actively supports a positive school culture and effective conflict resolution among students. Enrichment opportunities include DC Scores and Junior Scores for soccer and poetry, DC Honors Chorus, and Chess Club, broadening student experiences. School hours are 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and a uniform is required. For admissions, lottery priority is given to in-boundary families with a sibling currently attending or offered a seat.
