SALARY RANGE:$31,513.44 - $38,438.08 (Commensurate w/ Education & Experience)

CLOSING DATE: May 20, 2016


To implement the District’s leave programs according to established policies, rules and regulations.  Process and provide timely notification and communication to employees and supervisors regarding leaves and absences.  To serve as the first point of contact for employees in regards to all leaves administered by the District.  Scan all incoming applications/resumes into database.



  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of college and/or a minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources or related field. (preferred)


Experience/Special Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to leave programs
  • Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss sensitive leave issues with tact and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee leave matters and medical issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge of administration of leave programs and applicable laws preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Professional (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with multiple requirements and function well under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and effectively manage projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workforce
