Scott Peters

Executive Director of Support Services

 

Mr. Scott S. Peters, Executive Director of Support Services for Dallas County Schools (DCS), is responsible for Support Services, which encompasses Professional Development, Risk/Emergency Management, and Psychological Services. Mr. Peters has over 30 years of experience working in government services. Mr. Peters has a Bachelor’s Degree from Westfield State College and a Master’s Degree from the University of North Texas. Prior to becoming the Executive Director of Support Services, Mr. Peters started the DCS Police Department as the Chief in August 2012 until becoming the Executive Director of Support Services in December of 2015. Mr. Peters has over 30 years in Law Enforcement and has taught numerous Law Enforcement classes over his career. Mr. Peters was an Adjunct Professor of Criminal justice for 12 years where he taught Criminal Justice classes at Eastfield College, Collin County Community College and Navarro College.
